We craft our challah as a living tradition, using an ancient, cherished recipe as our canvas for innovation. Each loaf starts with high-quality specialized flours selected for their exceptional texture and flavor. We honor the deep symbolism of the braided loaf, which represents unity and the intertwining of family, but we also push the boundaries of what challah can be. Our rich, tender dough is enhanced with a modern twist of premium ingredients, from decadent chocolate to plump raisins and cherries, creating a distinctly wholesome and comforting flavor that is both nostalgic and excitingly new. The result is an experience rooted in the cherished stories of the past, with a fresh, contemporary flavor that invites you to be part of its delicious evolution.

Our story begins with a simple idea: that baking should be a pure and honest craft. At House of Challah, we don't take shortcuts. We find the best possible ingredients—the kind you’d want in your own kitchen—and use them to create our signature delights. We prioritize organic, non GMO, and kosher options for many of our core ingredients, not just for the planet, but for the clean, authentic flavors they provide. This dedication to quality is our secret ingredient, and it's what makes every loaf, cookie, and pastry a truly special experience.

Hi! My name is Jeny B and I've been making challah for years. After much encouragement from my family and friends, a little over a year ago I decided to get licensed and share my challah with my local community here in Prescott Valley, AZ, to both Jews and non-Jews alike!

What is Challah? Challah is a rich, slightly sweet, eggy bread that's similar to brioche in taste and consistency. It's traditionally braided or twisted and eaten by Jewish people on Shabbat and holidays.

But don't let that stop you from enjoying this bread every day of the week! It's great for french toast, breakfast sandwiches, burgers, bread pudding, croutons....the possibilities are endless!

Thanks for stopping by! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions and be sure to subscribe to my email list for discounts and shop updates. Thank you for supporting House of Challah!
